Portrait of a Hero!

That is ME.  I do not feel that I am a hero but am honored that Becky Jane would write a post about ME!

The honor I received is here at Rise Above Your Limits.   There is a chance that you read enough about ME on my blog? but do check out her blog....

Seriously Rise Above Your Limits is really inspiring.

That was a lovely tribute to you, Kim. It was nice to learn more about you, your illness and your faith in God. What a lovely photo of your family also.

Kim, what a lovely tribute to you in Portrait of a Hero (that's where I found you)!! I was recently diagnosed with a disease called Polymyositis, which is similar in its limitations and reading your story and your blog was so helpful to me! I still have a lot of pity for myself right now and to see all you've been through with such amazing faith and courage...well, it has really affected me. Thank you for sharing your story.

What a wonderful and inspiring interview, Kim! Can I ask you, you have been in the wheelchair for many years, what has made you try the walker at this time and get more active? Are you getting better, different drugs...? How wonderful!

And just why do you think you cannot be a hero? They are all amongst us you know. I think you should reconsider. ;-)

Dear Kim, I went to read the blog of Becky Jane "Rise Above Your Limits". Alas, much as I wanted to leave a comment, I cannot unless she uses a pop up window. Since I have known you for quite a while now, though am not much into my commenting mood in a long time, I can only add my personal praises to your strength inspired by your steadfast and great faith in God. I believe there is a purpose why some things happen to people. If that is an opportunity to help us grow in our spiritual growth, then glory be to Him. Thank you Kim for your kindhearted thoughtfulness.
