I am airing my dirty clean laundry here to share an ordinary moment of marriage.
Let me being by stating that I Love clean sheets on my bed!
I may have a clean sheet fetish?
I wash and dry the sheets but I cannot make the bed alone because of strength, deep pockets, etc..So hubs helps me.
One week after we had changed the bed and I climb into it much later.....I saw that hubs is laying across the bed sideways!
His feet were laying just below my pillow on top of my clean sheet but not on my pillow! The bed looked like the pic below....
I am sure yall are saying Ewww, feeling my pain. He was in a deep sleep so I shoved gently wiggled him to his side of the bed. This better not happen again or else....
Oh well.....After so years of marriage I do try to let the small stuff go. I am sharing a pointless marriage moment but these moments are our lives....

Looove freshly washed sheets on my bed, they have some kind of "crispy-ness" when you get into bed lulling you into sleep.
But you are right - feet should never be near pillows
He must have been REALLY tired to get into bed upside down!
Giggling.
I do love the feel and smell of clean sheets. I don't mind feet near a pillow as long as they are as clean as the pillow.
Hahaha! Love it! Pick and choose your battles lol
I love clean sheets too! John, likes them after they lose their crispness!!! Men make life interesting.
such is life! made me smile just reading about your shared moment. you did good, pick your battles is my motto and if works most of the time
Nothing feels so good as lying down on clean sheets!
There's still something good about this, at least his feet weren't on your pillow!! Wonder if he just plopped down on the bed and fell asleep before he could get positioned? I love the little stories in life like this. Phil helps me make the bed, too.
It's funny the things that don't make it into the wedding vows but which turn out to be important for getting along.I suppose for better or for worse is going to have to suffice or the wedding ceremony would never end!

What we won't sacrifice for our husbands...lol
My favorite part is when you wiggled him to his side. :-) Thanks for sharing your moment with us!
that bottom photo says a lot!
That's the sign of hubby's good catch!
Love clean sheets too! Your posts always bring a smile to my face!
Oh, I love clean sheets too. And I feel your pain at the sight of those feet so near your pillow. Oh well, new sheets are just a week away.
I rely on my (depressed and unmotivated) DH for nearly everything, so I don't get clean sheets nearly as often as I should, if you get what I'm saying. I don't want to become a total nag, so I suck it up.
At least his feet were not on your pillow!!!!!!!!!
You are so funny! But I too love clean sheets and need help making the darn bed without assistance!
Me too. A British women's radio programme I listen to had a deluge of e-mails/phone calls in response to the question "How often do you wash your sheets?" You'd be surprised at some of the answers! My own hubby woke me up the other night by (in his sleep), climbing over my inert form (mumbling something), then settling down on my side of the bed, behind me. Fast asleep. First time that's happened in 33 years.
Oh wow - that would make me nuts!!
I love the crisp feel of just-washed bed linen. But I don't know what your hubby was doing asleep at such an odd angle! :)
Oh, yes, clean, fresh sheets are wonderful. Hopefully his feet were clean too! It's good to learn to let the small stuff go for a healthy marriage.
There's nothing better than crisp clean sheets, especially if they've been line dried!! Being single I don't have to worry about hubbies feet in the wrong direction. My problem is cookie crumbs, my niece loves to come keep me company during my nap, she always brings a cookie to snack on!
trust me it is not "pointless" :) these are the moments real marriages are made of !!! even i have fetish for a neat bed!!
Well guess every marriage the couple would have to get used to each other's oddness, hahahah, that's the wonders of being married.
