My Year of 6 Paintings Despite MS

I painted this canvas of my uncle Carson's barn, for my son's Christmas gift....

Thankfully I can paint with both hands now, since my right hand was damaged by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) decades ago.

I painted this for my granddaughters nursery

my daughter chose a picture of her cat Tristan for me to paint.,
animals are a challenge....learning

My sister Teresa’s view.
Her son took this photo, then I painted it.

My lake view in 2010......I love looking at it.

My first painting in class, a year ago.
It is the road I grew up on.

I have had a blast at our local Senior Center learning to paint better.....
 with my aunt Sue.

I do spend many, many hours painting.......therefore I blog less but it is a fun achievement!

Do you have a favorite of these 6?

WOW! You are so good at this. I love the first scene, maybe just because of the brightness.

I had no idea you were gifted as an artist. these are wonderful and quite amazing. I am tied for my favorite on the barn and the cows, but all of them are beautiful to me... did you paint in the past or just started at the senior center.

Awe and wonder.
These are truly lovely. I think I like the scenery best, but cannot decide which one I like best. All of them.

I'm amazed. And a little jealous. You do have a gift. Favorites? It's a tough choice, but I think the one of the barn and the one of the road you grew up on seem to draw me in. Keep up the good work!

You are an inspiration . Painting so well with MS. It must be good therapy for you too. I love the landscapes best especially the one of your sister's view. I like the light in it and the fence lines.

I am so impressed - I could never do anything like that at all. I draw stick figures. I like 4 and 5 the best, but I like the others too. sandie

Wow---those are awesome. So glad you can paint now ---and are SO good at it... Choosing a fav is hard. It would be between the first once of the barn and the one of your lake view.. BUT--they are all terrific.

Congrats... Keep it up.
Hugs,
Betsy

I like the expression in the cat's eyes and the painting of the road reminds me of my sister who retired from being a cross country truck driver.
