WHEN THERE IS A DARK CLOUD, LOOK....

I was going to write how Thankful I was, since my husband and daughter had been spared by this round of job looses, however, my husband will lose his job when his contract ends in August. So as of now, he has not been missed by the job cuts. I have a lot of compassion for those that did lose their jobs, but now I know the shock it is.

There are many IF's that could happen and he could keep his job, but whatever happens, we know it will work out to the good. I suppose we will keep living by faith. We just think we have it all fine, but most people are living a few pay checks away from big and small challenges. I do not want to complain about my problems so I will end with, look how blessed I am, no matter what happens.

CHALLENGES OF LIFE

When everything seems to be going wrong, hold on. Everyone seems to have the same story, just different versions. The car goes in the shop, the same day we get a notice from the IRS, just after the floors are finished. We are moving back in half our house and I do not feel we got to breath before other challenges start.

Thankfully, the car seems to be working well for less money than we were told. Still working with the IRS, they claim small disability income is taxable. This is the small stuff.

When you seem to have difficulties, one after the other, realize you are not alone. I do not know anyone who is on "easy street". We must remember our blessings, if you have a spouse, children, friends, home, job, car, electricity, food, and many more. Be grateful you are alive to have challenges of life.

HAPPY 49TH BIRTHDAY TO ME.

I had a very busy and strange weekend, It started out by being late to a funeral. The funeral was so sad, she died too young at 43. I feel for her son and mother.

Ater a good start of Sunday church, my family had me a 49th birthday party. I am so thankful for having a large family and friends, it is a house full. We ate too much but was glad to have a big dinner and birthday cake. Most of my family has made their homes handicap accessible so when walking is not an option, I can drive in their homes with a power chair, and get around normal, trying not to run over people.

Monday is another hectic day, I will start out aching, since I take my injection on Sunday. I am thankful for medicine but I wish it wasn't an injection. Still do not know why I blog late at night and I am not a writer.

Sunrise

Photobucket

This may look grey to some but it is a beautiful Sunrise. Always look for a brighter day, when things seem grey. Look at the beauty of nature. I wish you could see the sun glistening on the wet branches of the trees.

NEW FLOORS

Photobucket

When things start looking bad and it seems like a flood, remember it will work out to the good. After all the work is done, it sure is beautiful to see the new floors. We are so blessed and I know it every time I look at the floors.

My plant is half dead in the picture since watering it was not high on my priority list.

BEAVER DAM

This is amazing how Beavers can dam up the water. It is near my home, my son took the picture with his cell phone.

IT WILL ALL WORK OUT

After a long upheaval in the house, all the new floors are finished. When you seem to think it will not end, hang on, better things are ahead. On February 16th our house had a large amount of water damage, the end was March 5. That is a very short time to be inconvenienced, but it did seem like forever. Be patent and wait, it will be over. It is not easy but I now have a beautiful new floor. I would post a picture but I cannot find the camera after looking for days.

Today was the end of an exhausting week, baby shower, cleaning the house, one of my sister's visited from Chattanooga, I cannot begin to name everything. Have you ever been so tired that you couldn't think? I know many people have been. Don't quit trying to push on, it will all work out in the end.

DRASTIC CHANGES

This is Georgia weather, it was 68 degrees yesterday with rain. I am thankful for rain, but I was exhausted again, with too many activities. Today we had a beautiful snow, big fluffy flakes. We do not get to see snow very often in the deep South, so the children were playing in it, we were just watching the beauty. It did not lay very much on the roads, so everyone could still travel.

Today was a beautiful, relaxing day, starting with Church, talking with many friends and family, and then just watching the snow. This is the way life seems to change, one day it is like summer, and then the next day, it is winter. Everyone has many changes in their life, from day to day, much like the weather. When you have a bad day, the next might be wonderful.
