ACCOMPLISH THE IMPOSSIBLE

What happens when you accomplish the impossible, for me, it is exhaustion. I am not complaining, just the facts of MS. I have kept my 2 month old nephew again all day, he is cute as can be, but a baby.

Many have told me it would be too difficult for me in a wheelchair. I always want to try, then I can say I did my best. I still do not know how long I can keep him, but I will continue to take one day at a time.

I am thankful I have had the ability to keep him some. Many would love to keep a baby, but cannot physically. I am grateful for the strength I still have. All that have challenges, be grateful for what you still have.

I always say that we never know what we can do until we try. But it always nice to have someone on hand to help if we need it.

Have fun with the baby. They are joyous, but work!

You have to do what you can do, so you can see what you can do. That's almost rhythmic, I may still have that singing career ahead of me? Enjoy the time with the little one.

That is so great, you are doing a wonderful job. I look forward to the day (no too soon) when I can spend the day with my grand children.

Oh--taking care of a baby is tons of work! My cousin was looking for someone to care for her 2 year old and 2 month old when she returned to work, and I bailed on her. I just didn't think I could keep up! Way to go for being courageous and giving it a shot!!

Great site. I'm sure God will bless you tremendously for helping others even in your condition. Keep up the good work and I'll keep you in my prayers. It is very encouraging to hear of someone who has overcome the challenges life has brought them.

Congrats on your awards, Kim! Very well deserved. Your spirit and courage are so inspiring. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you for thinking of me. I will post about this when I'm getting better. Sitting to long in front of the PC still gives me headache. Have a great weekend :)

Once in my life I was out of work, so I became a stay at home Mom. I mostly spent my time volunteering particularly helping in school library (of my children) and the community library. My job of which was to cover books that I am very good at doing.

One day, the Sisters of Charity came with a couple who were new migrant to this country from Eastern Europe. They were looking for a babysitter. I offered help without hesitation and without remuneration in minding their very clever three year old girl just so they could have a good start in their new life down under.

Yes, it's hard work. But I did not see it that way even if the child was quite a handful. I loved her and she was such a playful, tricky and demanding company.

By the time I hit my head on my pillow, I forgot about exhaustion. I have my way of disciplining children without hurting them in words or punishment. At the end of the day, the child would go home with Mom and Dad, leaving me her affection and respect.

I adore that memory. You are one to be praised Kim. Keep up the good spirit which you pass down to us.
