This Unusual Fall

I took some pictures today of this strange Fall around my house....

This tree still stands brightly even though it was damaged 16 years ago during the construction of our house.

I was surprised to see my hibiscus blooming in November however we have had record breaking heat in Atlanta.

And as the leaves fall I can see more of the lake outside!

Happy November!

The mild temperatures so late in the year have really confused some of the plant life...plus the cold blooded critters are still slithering around here as well. Even the bluebirds have been fluttering around their house like they are wondering if they should be nesting!

As the global weather changes, seasons are not as they used to be, they change too.
You should have a view of the lake all the time; it's beautiful and soothing.

Beautiful pictures! This fall seems a little strange with warm temperatures so late in the year, and I think the plants get mixed up somewhat! Happy November!

My son hopes to cut some of the brush down after it freezes so I can see the lake better.....too many snakes out there now!

Looks quite lovely around your place. I saw in my hometown, today that the roses were still blooming. That is most unusual for November.

Lovely pictures! Yes, we are in the middle of our second Indian Summer. Also, one day it will be forty and the next it will be 80.

Hi there, We have had a very unusual Fall also. Still feels like Summer most of the time.. We had a very hot and dry summer AND fall---which has caused this terrible drought... Not sure if we'll ever get any cold weather!!!!! BUT--our poor plants (like yours) don't know what to think about our weather.. Even the Spring Hosta is trying to grow already... Goodness.... Crazy Weather for sure.

We didn't get much color here --but as I posted recently, we did see some gorgeous Fall Colors in the higher elevations of the Smokies recently...

Have a great November.
Hugs,
Betsy
