critter remains |
My
when I yell....eww....He drops the remains of a critter inside the door....looking sheepish.
I have the chore of trying to scoop up the dead body with a pitch fork and carry it without dropping it....as I maneuver my chair around....since I want the body out of my house ASAP (hubs was at work).
then I have to clean up the area where the body had been since I do not want any evidence left. maybe I watch too many crime shows.
I did not mean for my
such little events that make up my daily life.

Ewwwwweeewwww, I remember a cat I had carrying a dead mouse into the house. So gross!!
Well, that is one less critter that will cause you problems
Yuk! Sympathy, as the nurse I always clean up ick. Somethings not as vile but dogs always go for the rotten stanky ones! Trying to think of assistive device for roadkill removal? Spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide fairly non toxic. Reacher grabber or swifter mop? Love my new shark steam mop-but don't get burned and would not mix carcass mop and house mop. Those animals have diseases. Best wishes, Mary G
Ewww is the appropriate response.
Ha
Good luck on corralling your hunter.

Yikes! I am also thinking that he makes a super watchdog!!! Looks like he won't let anything or anyone within a mile of you.
Good riddance! As you may know -- I like looking at wildlife in the wild, not in my house!
Peace,
Muff
Soooooo glad I don't have to worry about that with my little dogs.
Ick. Glad mine leave their dead critters on the porch.
Poor critcher. I wonder if it was murder or suicide...
Ewwwww I can imagine it took some time and effort to do that awful task. You need to train your horse/dog to return his prizes to the yard.
Eeeeuw. Over the years the cats have disembowelled too many things inside the house. And lucky me has the clean up duties because if makes himself feel sick. Like he is on his own there...
LOL.... he was just trying to help!
Maybe next you should not yell at him. Because when you yell he drops the dead critter inside the house. Perhaps he may respond better to some other form of command which is soft but stern but milder than yelling :)
Jake brings us dead critters, a rat or two and lizards or snakes, but has never brought one in the house... ewwww is right. once he threw up a whole frog right at my feet.
I have been told that when our pets bring us dead things it is a form of love. Maybe Donny thought a dead animal was a great way to show his appreciation for all you do for him. Or maybe he just thought it would be really fun!
Yuck! Sounds like quite an, er, adventure! I guess I'm lucky that the worst I have to deal with is my cats eating the occasional plant and regurgitating it for my cleaning pleasure. My husband and I operate on the "whoever sees it first cleans it." Hmmmm....wonder why I always seem to see it first??
ewwww. You are one brave lady. Not sure I could stab that dead thing to trash it. Hey....have a great Monday....hope the pup doesn't bring home any more 'treasures.'
I had a little dog that used to do that. They seem to think they are bringing you a present. Yuck!
