I Drove my Smart Car with Hand-Controls

I finally drove my new Smart car for the first time.....I can drive it now with the hand-controls installed!

At first I drove Hubs around town to practice with....

then I Drove alone to:
my Chiro
grocery store
then to the Dentist

I used to be independent back when I drove my van but a van is totally different....

I am a nervous wreck enjoying this new adventure since I am a Pioneer with the Handicap Smart Car!

BTW
Photo above is deceiving since I walk wobbly!   However, I am Thankful for every wobbly step that I take!

Wahoo, I am doing a one leg happy dance for you!!! That is one cute little car. I bet it feels awesome to get out and boggie around town now on your own.

I wobble too but for different reasons but with the lords help I get around and happy that I can.

Get down with your bad self in that car!! God Bless and keep you safe.

Yeah!!!! I wonder if you are the first one to do this with a Smart Car? I bet you were a bit scared at first, but soon it should be just part of your normal routine. You said the van was very different, did you have one of those ramps that come out and you can roll up into it? I'm thinking this would be easier to drive and a lot more maneuverable than a big van, and also easier to park.

Kim, you may walk wobbly, but you stand tall and proud. That is one great rig you have there. May you enjoy many independent excursions in it.
