Feeling just a bit foggy like these photos. These are a flashback to when Mom and Dad would take us to see the Great Smoky Mountains. When I saw these photos at Joyful Reflections I asked Betsy if I could borrow them.
Feeling Foggy |
Many know all the changes I have been going through, if you read this blog. Maybe all this causes brain fog!
I can use the MS as an excuse but believe it is just life? I am not the only one facing tough life situations...Fortunately the fog does lift.
This too shall pass!

These are beautiful and appropriate pictures. I know what you mean about brain fog. I have fibromyalgia, and brain fog comes with that. With all you've been going through, I would think even a person in excellent health would fog up a bit! But here's my theory on the fog. When we are going through tough times, I think our minds would just race beyond belief, just too much to cope with. So the fog is a way of slowing us down for our own good. Less stress on our overworked brains. Not necessarily a bad thing. What do you think?
Kim, I think your brain fog has something to do with being overwhelmed and inundated with such monumental decisions in your life and in the life of your Dad. That in and of itself can be so monstrous to process. Take time with yourself, pray or meditate or spend some time writing-whatever you need to do so soften your mind and feel at peace.
I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
I totally agree...THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!
I am sending you my good thoughts to help clear your mind. I may not understand how that feels, but I'm sure a warm tight embrace can relieve some of it. Here goes! You're doing great, my friend!

I love the pics
I`ve always wanted to go to the smokey mountains...and I too get those brain fogs.....stay strong okay...it will pass.
Hi Kim, I thought I recognized those pictures. ha ha .. Glad you could use them...
Love your post... I do think that life can be extremely hard at times --no matter what is going on. Right now, you have your Dad to worry about--in addition to your MS.
BUT--I also know that God never gives us more than we can handle... There have been times when I want to say: "Okay God... I have enough... Give these burdens to someone else now!!!!" ha ha
You are going to be fine... You have faith and a wonderful attitude. Hang in there.
Hugs and PRAYERS,
Betsy
I don't have MS but I get those brain fogs too. It seems to happen when I'm feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
Fabulous pictures.
When you have a lot on your plate...brain fog can happen. So it is not just the MS...you have a full docket!!
Been praying for you and your dad.
Hugs

Kim,
I didn't get a chance to tell you earlier that I'm sorry about your Dad and that they figured out it was a stroke.
I agree...those pictures are so appropriate. With all of my ailments, I also get that 'fog'..and yes eventually it passes.
Keep pushing on girl!! You are so strong.

Love the pictures. I think there is a lot of brain fog going around. I seem to have it a lot. What could I blame it on? Fragile X or menopause?
Anyway, all my best to you and your family. Just keep walking through and you will get to the end. Stay strong.
They are lovely photos and show the comparison CLEARLY... Hope your fog passes quickly!! MS is such a challenging condition. My heart and prayers are with you.
Talking about it is a good thing, as it helps people be aware and understand the condition better. You have a beautiful outlook, looking for a positive. You ROCK!! ;D
Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. (((HUGS)))
My mother is the one with chronic pain and health issues, but taking care of her sometimes sends me into a brain fog. Maybe it is a way of our body protecting our spirits. It is sinful, but God is still in control.
God bless you and I will add you and your father to my prayer list.
It's just like writer's block. You simply have to call teh voices in your head and move forward. It certainly will pass.
Also, thank you for finding me on my blog and for your great comment!

Kim sorry for your brain fog. (((((Kim)))))
Hi Kim,
It is understandable that with MS you having this additional problem. But then if you really look at it most of us have this problem also.Very often pressures of living makes us so confused that at times we have to grope in the dark to arrive at a decision.Even after deciding we are not sure whether it is a right or wrong decision and so we worry.
You are coping with all stresses of life so beautifully with faith in God and I am amazed at you resilience and mental strength.
Lovely photos. This reminded me of the days when I drove up the hair pin bends of a hill with heavy fog and visibility was hardly ten feet.I survived without going down the slopes into the deep ravines.
Best wishes,
Joseph
Feel better. I am sending prayers and blessings your way for better health.
I love the Smoky mountains. I get such a sense of peace when I'm there in those beautiful mountains.
Nature and people complement each other. Sometimes the fog is in Nature's elements, and sometims it is in our brains. We usually get used to it and go on with life.
Great pictures, just stopping by from Java's blog hop.
Well said and beautiful pictures!
Caregivingly Yours, Patrick
