Pain and Torture

Well it was Physical Therapy.  I went to Atlanta, Shepherd Center.  They have extensive PT.

I saw firsthand again, it can be worse than I.  Many have a long road ahead of them.

I came home to a lunch, cooked by my grown kids. Deliciously surprised by them.  (they do grow up fast)

I did not do my exercises, she instructed me to do.  I was tired, the same excuse everyone has! Another day....

I suppose life does require some Pain and Torture!

Pain and torture, yes, that's how life can feel sometimes.

My sister who has a very disabling form of lupus started physical therapy after a ruptured appendix had her in bed so long, her muscles decided to take a vacation too!

She spent two weeks at a hospital doing just therapy and has continued on her own. The rewards have outweighed the discomfort.

When our options become so limited and the pain is worth than the cure, you'll be doing those exercises, by gosh......you just have to wait until "stuff gets worse" lol! Always thinking of you!!

Sorry for what you do have to endure. You still manage to encourage and uplift. Which is certainly a gift. Blessings to you dear one, JBR

Kim, I haven't been doing my PT exercises yet either - and it has been a month!! I know, bad me. What I don't know is why I have not been doing my home exercises. So you do as I say, and not as I do: Do your exercises.

(I think you can take PT days off, though, because you've already done more than you'd do at home.)

I can come up with the best excuses too, the dog ate my instruction paper, that one never doesn't work.

So sorry to hear that. My oldest son is doing his clinical rotations in Houton now and tells me about these sessions. I know he wouldn't have anyone do anything that's not going to help someone in the long run. It still must be hard though.

I hope have a Wonderful weekend to recover & rest!

Blessings & Hugs,
Coreen

This is sad, the thought of the pain and torture. But God will always be with you to help you through it. Stay strong and be encouraged!

God bless!

Thanks for stopping by and for the sweet comment you left me. I also have MS and you are right...things could be worse. I'm legally blind due to the optic neuritis but God has used the blindness and other MS symptoms to heal my broken wounded heart and to open doors to reach out to others that I would not otherwise have. Now, I am able to thank Him for the MS and blindness...even though I don't always like it. Ha!

It's late and I'm tired but I'll have to stop back by and check out your blog more tomorrow.

I would benefit from PT but I'm too tired to drive. It's 45 minutes one way. ONE WAY!

And that's assuming I find a provider that accepts Medicaid. LOL!

You're doing well. =)
