STOP WORRYING!!!

I am so exhausted after a non-stop weekend, which I am Thankful for, but I am through worrying about finances. I am making an effort to do the best I can, and let the rest take care of itself. We have made it for 4 years now, through a learning process, I call it. I have quit wanting more material things and have become grateful for what I already have. I am trying to do that, anyway.
I felt like I had a sign from God when I saw a woodpecker bird on a tree again, that everything is going to be O.K. I know a woodpecker is not a dove but I enjoy watching them so much, and it had been a long time since I saw one. Bird or not, I am sure, this will be a memory and we will be more careful not to buy so much stuff. I do believe all, rich or poor, have had to re-evaluate their lives.

You are so right Kimberly, worrying about money and material things makes no sense. Life will be so much happier and easier for everyone if we just enjoy the little things in life. Life is wonderful, we just need to enjoy it more.

My husband and I are young and living in an apartment and are up to are heads in debt because we to, bought too much stuff. We put it all on various credit cards and then got in so deep that we couldn't pay them all. At first it was very stressful and I was getting migraines because of it. I eventually stopped worrying about it and we even laughed about it, even when we only had a few dollars in our account we laughed and pretended that we were playing a game to see how low we could make it go. Sounds a little ridiculous but it stopped the stress and now we are getting each credit card and debt paid off one at a time. I am thankful for the things we do have know that we don't have to be rich and have material things to be happy. We are happy in love with all our debt!

I agree totally with both comments, I knew that lesson, just had to be reminded.

You got that right. A wise man once said, "Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere." But seriously, it's just like you said, all you can do is your best. Even if that isn't good enough, you can be at peace--because you did YOUR BEST. If everything you did was truly God-honoring, then you will be blessed. Thanks for being a blessing to your readers.
