My SIL gave me this weirdly unique plant for Christmas....I do like how different looking it is.
Now let me see if I can use my iPad to blog with (a challenge for myself) .... However....my old laptop is tried and true for me.
This iPad is a new way to have communication while resting on the couch
.......................and it also helps with my hands dexterity while tapping along.

I have never seen a pitcher plant, but I like it!!
By the way, you are doing great with your IPad!! I might have to get me one of those.
I have never seen a pitcher plant, very cool! Good luck with the ipad! I'm sure you will love it!
That is cool!! Those things hanging off it does look like pitchers.
What the heck are those things hanging off the plant?
They have a cavity filled with liquid and they catch small insects. This is a nice big one!
What an amazing looking plant. Is it like the pitcher plants I know, carniverous?
Love the plant..fabulous!

That is a neat gift. Which app do you use for blogging on your iPad? I tried blogpress and didn't like it but now I'm going to try Blogger next. At the moment I prefer my laptop because all my photos are on it.

Hi Kim
Beautiful plant. Regarding i-Pad it may appear very difficult and complicated but will turn out to be simple & easy and become your best and indispensable companion soon.
Warm Regards Ram
Few years back this plant was in demand in Malaysia. Due to "Fung Shui" and the name of the plant in Chinese sounds like auspicious. It was selling like hot cakes during Chinese New Year. Someone once told me that you have to fill those hanging pockets with water every now and then. It traps insects.
