Haircuts

This plant needs a haircut....
When I trim the dead parts of the plant it looks so much nicer.

I also need to get a haircut myself but
going to the salon is not so easy and is a hassle.

I remember back
When hubs was unemployed.....
I would say
"how can I pay to get my haircut when money is so tight"?

I could trim my own hair but when I did
it looked like a 2 year old cut my hair!

What an unimportant subject that I blog about....
however it is one of those simple things that I take for granted!

Not really unimportant, because you know how we us ladies love to talk about hair! I hope you are able to get your hair cut soon. I find that it gives me a real mental boost! As for the actual process of getting the hair cut, Phil loves it, I hate it. Makes me nervous seeing those sharp scissors whizzing around, especially by my ears.

There are few things that can make a woman feel bad about herself than hair that is in need of a cut. There are a lot of people now that will come to your home and do your hair. It is important! And don't cut your own bangs. I have never had a bang trimming episode work out!

I had a hairstylist come into my home to do wash, cut and colour. Search out the classifieds, and local businesses. Nothing makes me feel better than a new "do".

I cut my own hair for that very reason! It adds up. Every now and then I go to a real salon. :)

I understand - I haven't had a hair cut since last May. It looks pretty rough, but it's so hard to find someone to watch the boys and then the expense too. Hard to justify sometimes. Hopefully I'll make it for a trim before a year has passed ;-)

Such is life though.

You know what Kim, I quit going to get my hair cut. Everytime, they would butcher me. The last cut was so bad that I decided to cut it myself.

All little parts of our life and our days are important. They are what make us- Us.
I cut my hair all the time. (I just don't like telling people who does it when I ask;))

I went through the same thing a little while ago. When I worked,
I went to the salon twice a week. When I went on disability, I couldn't afford it, and I looked awful. I finally just had it all cut off, and since I have a natural curl, it just goes into place. Paying for highlights is a whole other story!
BTW: Maybe your plant might need a new pot? Sometimes a change like that perks them up.
Peace,
Muff

Hi - I always feel so good after I get my hair trimmed and the grey colored and even a manicure. And it is one of the few places I can drive myself to - so it is a win-win
Love to you
Gail

I used to do hair for a living. The #1 question people asked me was if I cut my own hair. No!

I don't think your thoughts are unimportant - not at all. I have trimmed my own hair several times. It was never really straight, but when I curled it the unevenness wasn't so obvious! Maybe you could find someone to come to your house.

I only get my haircut when it has needed it for some time because of the difficulty in getting there. By which time it is reclaim my face rather than cut my hair. Good luck.
