Marine Son Visits

My Marine son came home this 4th of July weekend with a few Marine friends. (Son pictured left at my sisters house)

The base where he is in school at, offered a trip to see a few sights in Atlanta so he jumped on the bus.

It was a busy weekend with son and friends in and out here all times of the night.

Of course, horse dog was a nervous wreck sticking closely to my chair with me calming him down....The pic is what we imagine.

When the kids get back to their busy, busy lives that is finally becoming Ok!

I love seeing my children and it is a bunch of fun too....
Happy 4th!

How wonderful, Kim, to get to see your son --on such a great holiday for our country. It is Marines just like him and his friends who work so hard to provide the freedoms that we have. God Bless them...

Hugs,
Betsy

How fortunate you are...these young men look like a lot of fun! I am so proud of our country. It has a lot of problems, but with prayer and righteous living we can solve a lot of them! My kids are all gone for most of the week! It's just CL and I...yahooo!

What a special weekend . . . one that brought back great memories of my Marine son coming home on leave in years past! I am thankful for your son - and mine - and all those serving our great country!!

Did you know how much this country loves Mothers? Only on Mother's Day do the flags on all goverment buildings first fly at half staff to honor all Mother's and to show respect. It's not done for any other, save to those who died in service to this country.
I'm glad your son got to send time with his Mother.
