awww why the heck are they going? they've got it good at home! the Mom and Dad are probably saying "ya feed'em and protect 'em and give them love and then they leave! *sniff sniff* :O( Blessings, Joanne
How do you know they have left for now and won't be back? I guess this has happened in previous years, so you just know? We have lots of geese, and they all take off and fly, but just to other parts of town, so they stay here year round. But I know geese migrate, strange!
Whether it is humans or critters, GOODBYES are hard.... My sons are all grown and gone --and I still miss them terribly. (My oldest will be 48 on Monday!!!!) Hugs, Betsy
There's a park not too far from my house with geese and ducks. I love to go and feed them but they get agressive sometimes, trying to steal food out of your hands if you aren't careful. Haven't been down there in awhile. I think you've inspired me to make a trip there this afternoon.
Found you on the over 40 page. Thought I'd pop by and say hello. Feel free to pop by if you get a chance. Kim http://losingitlikealunatic.blogspot.com/ http://cravingsofalunatic.blogspot.com/

Role reversal!
How fortunate you are to have this so close to you. Our pond is 15 miles away, but, once we're there the ducks are so entertaining.
So glad we're blog friends! Happy weekend!
Very profound thoughts.

Awwwwww time to leave I suppose....
Bye geese! I've enjoyed following them.
Totally get you.
Kinda' like the seasons of our lives . . .
They'll be back, just like the human "goslings". And you have your terrific photos for your memory book.
I bet they'll be back. Maybe full grown?

Darn and I was loving all the pics of them. Do they return each year?

It leaves one with the 'empty nest' feeling.
Good bye little darlings, see you again sometime!
Very cute photo.
:) .... hope they will come back next season....
And the season moves on ... what fun it must have been them to watch them.
we all enjoyed them with you while they were there, maybe something exotic will show up in their place.
Every kid seems to grow up faster and faster these days!!
