Eunice, what a story of a friend. She was an alcoholic, almost homeless a long time ago.
She found the Lord, then began to help others that were homeless. "I could have been on the streets", was her saying.
She went the extra mile to help everyone. She took some to Church, cooked etc.
Unfortunately Eunice's job ended, then she lost her home. This happened years before the recession. We all tried to help her.
As troubles continued, Eunice had a knee replacement because of pain. She had to stay in a Nursing Home for 2 years with complications.
Doctors had to amputate her leg from the knee down. Eunice is now recovering again.
Every time I call her now, she says baby I will be ok. I am doing better now.
A case of when it seems bad, it could be worse.
Why? We do not understand it. We all pray for her, prayer is all she wants.

Wow.
You're right.
Stuff could always be worse.
I NEED to remember this.....
She sounds like an absolutely amazing person.
Makes me think that I could be better in my attitude!
Sometimes we just have to be reminded of how good we have it.
Reminds me of the song: Thank You Lord for your Blessings on me.
I have a friend like this. Her family is really struggling. Yet her face shines with joy for the Lord. These kind of people always amaze me.
Eunice sounds like a tough and compassionate gal. She has been through a lot but still stays positive. What a great example! I'll say a special prayer for her.
Wow - she sounds like a truely amazing giving person. Thanks for sharing her blessings with us.
God is not finished with His story here. I know He will continue to use all things for good. I've seen Him do so in my own family's story. Believing for that for this Eunice too.
Wow Kim,
What a story.... I feel bad for Eunice but she is right... she WILL get through it
I know someone in a similar place. Bad things keep happening, and she is such a good person. I always find myself asking God...why?
It's great that Eunice can be so positive and hopeful after all she has been through. She must have a strong faith, which is what we all need to get through those bad times of life. Thanks for sharing about her, Kim. It can always be worse, but with God's help can come the hope of doing better and that things will be all right.
Yes, this is a great reminder that 'stuff can be worst'. She sounds like such a passitive and caring person! Will praying for her!! Thanks for sharing, Kim!
Hugs,
Coreen
