My Dad, Pratt (left) and his friend Travis, photographed after they were baptized.
This was in the late 1940's, makes this a rarity photo. I am happy we found this, of such a special time of his life.
Dad is 71 now, he is still being a great father. I am continuing Father's Day.
Remember photos, can end up being very special one day.

That's a really special moment there. My sister is the genealogist and has been finding rare gems of my dad and his parents. It's nice to have them because my dad died when he was 48 and I never really knew my grandparents. But seeing the pictures means a lot. I wish I could say they were all Christians, but at this point only God knew their hearts and whether they believed. But I like to think so.
Anyway, hope your father had a great Father's Day!
WOW! That is awesome!
Yes you never know when those pictures will end up being very special. I treasure those of my daughter.
I like looking at my grandparents and parents old pictures too. Every pictures is accompanied by a story.
What a treasure! Your dad and this photo!
Going to the river.... to get baptized. You don't hear about that much anymore, and it's even rarer to have a picture.
I'm following you from Friday Follow - my first real one (last week I started at midnight CST!) - so it didn't really apply. LOL Would love to have you follow me! (I didn't realize we were supposed to blog first - be sure to follow the link to my giveaway - it's tomorrow!
