The Risk of Motherhood
I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers. I feel this is a picture of one of the best things I did with my life.
Years ago, the Doctors, did not encourage me to have children because of the MS. I did not listen!
They did not know much 23 years ago. Would I get worse? Would it be hereditary? Would it kill me?
Some days I did think motherhood would kill me!
I had a good life with MS (Multiple Sclerosis), so the unknown was worth the outcome to me.
Now looking back, I am so happy I took the risk. I know Mothers would agree with me.

You have every reason to be proud. I think the instinct to have our children is something that can't be overcome by words from outside sources. I have 2 daughters that I was told I'd never be able to have. You are such a brave woman, a force to be dealt with. I commend you on your achievements. You're special. I hope your weekend is a good one.
What a great little story. You're certainly an inspiration to others. Thanks for visiting today and for following along! Have a terrific Mother's Day, you deserve it!

I can't imagine the added challenges you must have faced, but it sounds like your faith and positive spirit (and certainly God) have seen you through. Very nice post, and nice tribute to mothers.

Oh, thank you for your comment. Google allows you to change your URL for a $10 fee yearly. I changed mine I suppose just to personalize my blog a bit and make it more 'official sounding' :)
Looks like you did a wonderful job with your children. Just goes to show doctors don't know everything!
I am currently affected with an auto immune disorder which has affected my eyes and health and caused me to leave college in my fourth year. The doctors suspect it may be Multiple Sclerosis as well. I am going in for testing in about a month.
You are an inspiration to me and now I am not so scared. I say let come what may, I know I can deal with it. My mother always told me to count my blessings and I do. I have been blessed with wonderful children and an amazing husband! What more could I ask for!
Have a wonderful and blessed day.
