Monday Memories 1981

Forgetting your youngest sister, at Church, is a memory!  We had hurriedly left Church, did not notice the youngest was not with us.  We get home, a guy from Church, calls to say, did y'all forget something?  Oh
No, we forgot the youngest, fortunately it was a small town and she was safe.  We hurried back to get her and all was fine.

We still laugh about this 30 years later, but Mom did not think it was as funny as the sisters did.  Of course, Mom felt bad, but she had five girls to look after.  This is a time, that stuff could always have been worse!
You can look back and see where it could have been worse, also....

Oh dear! Gotta admit, this one made me chuckle. I can imagine your Mother was just horrified! Hope she was able to smile about it later on ;-) Great photo!

As a mother of three busy ones, it is easy to get distracted. I would feel terrible too, but, no harm, no foul, I guess. Thanks for stopping by our blog.

I forgot one of my babies as I was pulling out of the driveway of my home, but thank God I do a quick roll call and realized she was not in the car.

Thanks for passing by and commenting on my daughter's progress. It is always a blessing hearing from you. xox

How funny! The older I get, the more I am learning this lesson. My latest question to my husband has been, "What's the worst that could happen?" In the long run, the worst isn't really that bad. Thanks for this reminder today! Hope you are having a great week!

I love memories of days gone by. thanks for this. Having raised the three girls, there were times when this happened. And recently, believe it or not, my family forgot me!
Great story.
