When the law stops you, it is not always bad. We were pulled over, what did we do?
The Policeman walked up to the window, he was following when a napkin flew out the window. He had to stop us, since it was litering. He needed to teach our five year old, not to liter. Dad made him go pick up the napkin off the side of the road. They talked to our son very nicely, and gave him a magnet, to remember to not to liter. Our son still has this memory.
This is one of the good life lessons of teaching a child good principles when young. We did our best, then it is up to the individual to become honest adults. They should know right from wrong. Make the right choice!

I often hear about younger women wondering if tey should have children since they have MS. My son was already around when I became sick, so there was no option but to go through it together. Today he is a caring, principled young man; and according to his girlfriend-he learned how to be aware and gentle from years of having a sick Mama. Our kids make living all the more worthwhile!
great story! thanks for sharing
That is the kind of lesson that will stick with your son for the rest of his life. What a great memory.

Awesome post! I have hounded the littering issue into my children since they were little! They hate to see people do it nowdays; they'll say, "Hey Mom! Did you see that Guy throw so-and-so out the window?" It is all I can do to keep them from wanting to get out and pick up the trash! :)
