A Horse Moved In?

When a dog moves in, big enough, I call him a horse.  He is a Mastiff dog and was homeless.  He had been living outside, cold rain, when he had been in a home, previously.  After he had lived in many, not so good places, he won me over.  The last thing I need is a dog to take care of, but he is so well trained and behaves well.

I see this as a lesson on traveling some bad roads of life.  He was used to living a good life, then went through some rough times.  He kept moving until he found a nice, warm, large home.  When it looks bad, keep holding on until your situation does get better, even if it looks hopeless now.

Oh, it makes me so happy that that big fella found a good home. And how warm-hearted of you. I love big dogs. My Sadie was almost 100 pounds when she went over Rainbow Bridge. They seem so 'people like'.

I've never had a dog in my life, and we just adopted one at Christmas...after having her for a week we found out she had parvo. Amazing that you can bond with a pet so quickly. She's better now, thank goodness! Your "horse" is lucky to have found a home with you.
