He should have stayed in his warm safety, being frightened he ran into the storm. We assumed, there was so much water, he had been swept away like the trees and roads were. A phone call said they had been keeping him safe. We were shocked and thrilled at the same time. No one could believe this.
A lesson on staying in your safety and not running wildly into the storms of this life. Think again, when you feel like running from challenges.

After a month, I'm sure you are ecstatic to get Oscar back. Warm wishes.
So pleased you found your dog. My little dog I've had for 13 years died recently and it was heartbreaking. I have five children and a busy life but she was so much a part of it.
Well said -- I'm always looking to tie these kinds of experiences to life lessons. Good job Oscar!
Oh I wish he could talk to you all about his month away! But I'm sure all you would hear is barkbarkbarkSOGLADTOBEHOME!!!!! Great news!
He'll appreciate being home. They have good memories and thankfully he was saved by a good person who could return him to you.
So glad for you...and your dog!
So happy to hear you're reunited. Excellent advice too
Oh wow! That's exciting! He is probably glad to be home too. And yes, it is definitely a good lesson in not running into the storms of life. Hope you are having a great week!
How incredible. I am so happy for you.
I just wanted to stop by to tell you that I agree, things could always be worse. I like your blog title.
What an amazing story of hope! So happy your Oscar is home again.
