One Year of Employment

(my niece Ivy took this pic)

I felt this stormy pic described how we felt during Hubs unemployment days of 2010....
.

Thankfully the storms pass by....Hubs has been employed for one year now!
and things just seem brighter with a job
One year has gone by so slow and yet so fast!

First, let me say that I 'm so glad your daughter is fine from the wreck, besides aches and bumps. Praise God for that!

And second, I love the lightning bolt as illustration to the way unemployment comes on you. I well, well remember it from our own year of unemployment in 2008. Praising God for jobs every day.

Hi Kim, Happy Super Bowl Sunday to you. May the best team win!!! I personally am for the Giants --but I truly just hope it is a good game. Anxious to see some great commercials also!!!

Employment is good --especially in this economy. I'm sure you all feel blessed.
Hugs,
Betsy

Unemployment could easily break one's spirit. Thank God it didn't happen to your husband.

As they say "All's well that ends well". He went through the difficult year without loosing his courage, and now he's employed and doing well.

Isn't it amazing how storms change and shape us. Our hearts become more wholly His as we surrender control and ask for His help.

So thankful for this one year anniversary of employment for y'all!

Some one has liked the flash in the picture so beautifully captured by your niece. All turmoils in life are like such flashes. If only we could find a way to love them.

I was speaking to someone in the office about how time seems to fly. We were talking about retirement and how many years we think it will be before we're able to take that big step. The way the economy is, the 4 years we were predicting will probably be 8! Great photos! AND congrats on that 1 year milestone!
