ONE OF THOSE BAD DAYS

When everything goes wrong, it was one of those bad days, that everyone has. It was little things to end with the phone not working, computer, floors, etc. I am so tired I cannot describe it, but a lot of people know how I feel.

When we have those days, it is time to remember our blessings. I am grateful my husband did not loose his job. I have compassion for the ones that did. I am thankful to have the ability to type on a computer, technology allows me to communicate with friends. I guess this is my gratitude journal with normal life challenges.

After Flood

We are on the long road to recovery, when it comes to getting the house back to normal. We started the week with water and it is all dried and cut out, now is repair time. I am very apprciative of insurance, just hate to see all that beautiful wood, thrown away. Remember, all things work to the good....

WHEN YOUR DAY STARTS ROUGH

When things start out tough, keep on going. We started to cancel our anniversary trip to Callaway Gardens when we woke up to our home flooded. A pipe broke as we slept and filled the kitchen and more with water. We dried as much as we could and called our insurance and left. They are taking care of our blessed home and we are so happy we went to the gardens.

It was beautiful, even in the winter, riding, walking on the trails was so nice. It was a day to remember and we could have stayed home with many difficulties. Next time, go ahead and go, when you just want to stay in.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my 22 year old daughter. We had a wonderful evening, talking and eating at a nice restaurant again, in downtown Atlanta. We wanted to spend time with her more than anything in the world. That is something I think many families forget to do in their hectic life. Just talk to each other.

Of course, as parents do, we had to reminisce about the day she was born. We are proud of her, she is working hard, to make herself a great life. It has always been a busy season for us, since she was born the day after our second anniversay. I wouldn't change a thing.

HAPPY 24th ANNIVERSARY TO MY HUSBAND

I have been thinking of a different way to tell my husband HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. I will tell the blogging world about our 24 years. How does time fly? I am sure everyone that has been married a long time can relate.

We started off well when he got out of the military, had 2 children, built a handicap accessible house, our careers changed many times, children grew up, too fast. My health has always been a continuing story, besides MS, through many surgeries, etc. he has been there. I always could depend on him. I love him and would do it all over again.

Of course we had our ups and downs, life seems to be that way. My advise to everyone is, to hang in there, life keeps changing.
