Picking Up My Painting Hobby

I thought I would try painting again since I haven't painted in 30 years.  My aunt Sue started dabbling in the hobby so I got the artistic bug.....we have fun attempting to paint like Youtube videos do.

I didn't think I could paint anymore because of my damaged by MS right hand.

It feels good to accomplish something you thought you couldn’t do anymore!

You did good! I love your trees, especially! I haven’t painted in months and hope to start a canvas next week. I always secretly worry that I will have forgotten how!

Wow!!! I adore this!! I love the way the little sailboat is framed by the trees. The colors, the waves...everything is spot on! I am so glad for you that you can paint again now! Hoping to see many more!

That's wonderful news! If you have a God given gift, you'd better use it, and practice it!
The little boat, the sky, the sea, the trees, the earth - all the elements with their right shapes and colors, have been brought together by your talent to form a charming picture.

Lovely Lovely painting! Is it a place you visit often? So glad you are enjoying something you though you lost

Gosh that is beautiful. I love your style. The perspective really draws you into the setting and story. Calming. I hope you can continue painting.

The S.S. Minnow looked so peaceful at the beginning of the three-hour tour.
Keep it up!

I think you've done very well on this painting. Your story reminds me of Joni Eareckson Tada's experience after a diving accident made her a quadriplegic. She subsequently learned to paint by holding a brush in her mouth.

I think your painting is very successful and how good you are painting again. It is fun to try some of our old hobbies again, for me that might be painting or sewing or riding horses. It's been a long time.
