Defrosting

We were 6 degrees this morning in our area of Georgia.....
with a forecast of staying below freezing all day!

Above is a photo of the ice on the inside of our chest freezer.......
not the ice that is outside of our home!

Hubs had an ideal to put our frozen food on our deck....
....unplug our freezer and let the freezer defrost!

I feel blessed to have a warm home!  also to be able to stay inside and help hubs do some "winter" cleaning.

Stay warm, Kim.... It was MINUS 10 here on our deck early this morning--but it's finally beginning to get a little warmer out there... Crazy weather!!!!

Hope your freezer defrosts out there...

Hugs,
Betsy

Wow. Good luck with everything and stay warm. You could always come here. It is only 60 degrees.

Brrrrr! It's been cold here lately, but not nearly as much so as it is there!

That was a great idea about setting the food on the porch while you defrosted the freezer!

Freezing here too! Good idea about keeping the food outside while the freezer is fixed.
