I am so proud of my daughter for participating in a 5K with her co-workers for the simple reason of wanting to be healthier.....
She inspires me as I walk with my walker to go to the bathroom many, many times a day (which can seem like a 5K) instead of driving my powerchair....
But exercising sure does make me feel better!

I am happy for her and even happier for you. and i agree going to the potty is exercise, also letting two dogs out 6 times a day is to. keep walking...
My son is a marathoner and enters several of these races a year. He practices on the city streets and looks so fit. I wish I could walk just a fraction of that!
Bravo to her!!! Maybe I need to do laps with my walker!!!
Wow. And yes, somedays the toilet trips feel as if they are a marathon. Some days they are...
Applause from south Georgia! Not just for the runner, but for her mom too!
I have started doing yoga and it has helped with a lot of my neck pain I was having. I think exercise is very important for the ole bones.
Good for her!
Your daughter is awesome! and so are you! oh man...this means I have no excuse....I'm running tomorrow! Ok when I say running I mean about half a block....gotta start somewhere right? ;0)
Blessings, Joanne
last sunday we just had a major running event over here too :)

Your daughter is amazing. Way to go.
Congratulations to your daughter. I am always inspired by people who can get out and walk or run.
Yes, that is definitely something to be proud of. One of my sons is doing something similar. SO healthy!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Good for her! And I know what you mean about trips to the bathroom. Sometimes that's my main exercise for the day, but the frequency makes it a decent workout!!
Well good for you and your Daughter. Walking to the bathroom is a big deal when your muscles don't cooperate.
Well done to both of you.
Good for her and good for you too! Accomplishments come in different forms for different people. Rejoice in all of them!
