I always liked this tree but it has seen better days....when it was young!
This makes up my Christmas tree full of old precious memories!

I love it when people put memories on their tree instead of just balls and glitter. That make it more beautiful to me.
How wonderful to have a tree full of the memories of your children, things they made with their own little precious hands! And your mother-in-law's ornament, it looks like one you would buy in a store, not homemade!

Your tree is decorated with love! Love from your MIL, your kids with growing up, etc! I know when it gets decorated it is filled with lots of wonderful memories!

It's not necessarily the tree that makes the holiday, it's the ornaments with all their hidden memories!
I have a nostalgic attachment to many Christmas ornaments and some decorations around here. There's something about opening the boxes from the attic and seeing the old familiar things. My mom has some that take me all the way back to my childhood.

Some of our Christmas ornaments have nothing to do with Christmas - like a glass coffee pot, but they spell Christmas to me.

Hey, our tree is newer, but it's full of really old ornaments, which is totally cool.
That makes Christmas trees special: the memories that go with the ornaments. These are truly priceless. And you can create more new memories as the years go by.
