We had a lunch for my family (20 people) to come over to welcome him.
As you can see we get out the finery of paper plates for our family!
This is one of my favorite things to do....socialize with them.
Do try to Enjoy your family when you can.

a wonderful family you have. and you are so right, enjoy while we can. I like your dining room, all that light and able to see your beautiful trees.
Looks like a fabulous family reunion. Hope you are off to a wonder-filled week
Family get togethers are the BEST!!
You are right.. enjoy them while you can.
Nothing is more important than family and paper plates should always be used. Time should not be spent washing dishes when it can be spent with the ones you love.
I am glad your son is home! I love it best when the chickadees are in the nest.
I am ALL for less work while spending time with loved ones! Yay for Son coming home....love the getting - togethers!!!
looks fun and love the plate finery. It's what I use too.
Homecomings are the greatest celebrations! We use the same fine china that you do! Posh!
I'm sure those paper plates are family heirlooms!

wonderful memories in print. They will be home for how long?
That is a truly glorious dining room. Nearly as impressive as a family group where all are smiling.

Great pics of the group enjoying each other!

Spending time with family and friends is the best...and yes, very precious too!
I have the same china at my house, my "crystal" is a lovely blue :-)
It's truly wonderful spending time with family when you can! We recently returned from visiting ours and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Amen to that, and I do. I would rather spend time with my family than anything. Really.
