Our "Backstreet Boys" Adventure

Yes I still have my hearing!  It is hard to believe after the deafening screaming girls at the arena.

I am celebrating my daughters birthday this week with a fond memory from the year 2000.

We took her to see "The Backstreet Boys" in concert in Atlanta.

The tickets sold out within minutes so she was disappointed of course.

Dear hubs had an idea of checking into the handicap seating and it was available!

Hubs took us and hung out with our son in Atlanta while I endured we enjoyed the concert.

We were in great seats with screaming young girls surrounding us and watching these boys in concert.

These times in our kids lives do become fond memories as we grow older :)

Keep making good memories in your life!

Oh yes.... I remember my dad, daughter and I going to see the Monkees! I was thrilled to see Nicole enjoying them as much as I did when I was her age.

Then we got on a water ride and right before the water hit I remembered I was wearing hearing aids and I threw them to my dad before the water hit. Whew...!

Oh this is just great!!!! I know exactly what you mean about attending (enduring) things our kids love.
But oh the memories for all of us:)))))

Good for you:)

Glad you still have your hearing! I never thought of the backstreet boys being as loud as some of the hard rock groups, but I'm sure it was the screaming girls that hurt your ears! Were you even able to hear them over the screams?

Even with the noise it made for a nice memory for your daughter. I have a few of those loud concert memories too.

Reminds me of taking our two boys to the tractor pulls, which I"enjoyed"! I think I was deaf for a while!

You must be quite "trooper". I am not sure I could handle that, though if I recall one or two of those boys was pretty easy on the eyes. ;)

What a great memory! We do try to make as many memories as possible with our son. But it's so easy to let time pass. Thanks for this great reminder!

It might not have been your favourite show, but I'm sure it was worth it for her! :)

In our places, when you go to a wedding which takes place in a Banquet Hall, the music is deafening you and it's impossible to have a conversation with people.

However, screaming of girls at a concert is somehow not so terrible especially that the kids enjoy everything related to the concert, and parents would endure a lot of things in order to please their child.

The thought the backsteet boys were so yesterday, apparently I was so wrong. Thanks for commenting and following on my little blog today!
