Your MS is Not Active

This was the doctors reply to me when I had asked "Can I try the med Tysabri".  That med is for active MS and yours is not active, she said.

I give God the credit, whether it be meds, chiro, or the way MS does.  I am for inactive MS!

My MS has stabilized during the past few years.  I have read that I should be going into the progressive stage after 30 years??

I could not see much hope when the nurses were pulling me from the bath tub, a long time ago.

Another time when an ambulance was called for me, since I could not sit up, literally.

It did look bleak then!  I try to remember this when it looks gloomy in life!

I had almost forgotten this during this past year of trouble changes.
When your life looks bleak, it may not stay that way....hopefully.

That's good to hear Kim. Mine is very active right now, but on the bright side, my doc told me, it will more than likey "burn itself out" by the time I reach 60! 6 more years to go.

Praising God for this, how wonderful!!!! Is this a new drug, and how long have you been taking it?

Being INACTIVE is definitely good news, Kim.... As my friend who has MS (and has for 40+ yrs)---there are definitely ups and downs with the disease. She recently had a flare-up and had to go to the hospital for a couple of days for some powerful antibiotics (due to some infections) and also some steroids... She's home now and feeling better. She's lived with MS for a long time --and she keeps saying that she's living with MS, not dieing with it..

God Bless You, Kim.
Hugs,
Betsy

So happy that things are going well with your health regarding the MS. I'm sure it must be a very scary thing (MS) -- but God is good and faithful to see us through. :)

I'm happy that you're doing better than you expected, and I love that you're thankful for it. I always try to remind myself how lucky I am - ok, so I have to work harder at some things, but I have known so many people with truly debilitating conditions and I know I'm very fortunate.
