Two sides

What do you do, when you want to complain but you know it is a blessing? My husband will be working two jobs and that is great with the economy, and a blessing for our finances. I want to mummer and complain, since I have long and lonely days ahead.

There is always two sides to every story. He would say, I think they are long days, what about him working them. Try again to look for the best in every situation. We will make it by the grace of God.

kim, as a well-used cliche goes: when life hands you lemon, make lemonades. you're luckier than most for you were also handed sugar to sweeten the lemon. have a great day! :)

You have written the key to it all in your last sentence...We will make it by the grace of God...not by anything we might do, but by His grace...good post, Kim....

Kim am glad the Lord always makes two sides of everything: day and night - where we can do our normal things with the benefit of daylight and rest when darkness comes.

Like beautiful and ugly: a beautiful day where we can go out and enjoy the sun, the breeze from the air, and allow us to see the plants growing, the flowers blooming... its downside, is the ugly weather like storms so we can stay indoor and keep ourselves sheltered....

Ah those long lonely days ... to which am not a stranger at all ... cheer up Kim... think of happy things. That is the secret formula I have concocted in the last few days so that I will always have a pleasant day everyday and it makes my immune system well and good! :)

All will be well!

I so appreciate your attitude Kim. I admire how you choose to focus on the good and are realistic about the challenges. I know that your life will be blessed because of your choice of focus.
