Spring Beauty and Pollen

a dogwood tree blooming near
a dead tree

Our pollen count in Atlanta was 5354 a few days ago!   I had a runny nose, sore throat, coughing.....fortunately I have allergy meds.

my driveway

Even if I have a few allergy problems....it does not taint my love for the flowers blooming, birds chirping, trees budding, and warmth!

I wish Springtime for those who are still dealing with snow.....

I'm glad you love Nature despite its Spring allergies. Luckily, it's possible both to prevent and find relief to many of the allergies.
Lovely green driveway!

They said that was the biggest pollen count in three years. My poor daughter has a swollen face and sinus infection - on antibiotics. My mom used to say that springtime in Atlanta is not a season it is a blessing. sandie

I don't envy you dealing with the pollen, but I am eager for flowers to return here. We had snow and cold temperatures again today.

I sometimes suffer with spring allergies, too; so I feel for you. It IS a beautiful time of year, though, isn't it? We had snow squalls this morning, but the sun came out late afternoon. The grass is greening up, but there aren't many other signs of spring in our area.

Until I had a course of desensitising injections Spring was a misery for me. And I still loved it.
I hope the snow and winter recedes for those on your side of the world. Soon.

Thanks for sharing your spring with us. We had a mini-blizzard yesterday. Things here in Ohio are trying to bloom despite temps in the 20s, snow, rain, gloom.
I might be moving your way if it doesn't change soon!

what a beautiful scene! Thank goodness I have no Springtime allergies that affects the respiratory functions. Take care...but, as you say...enjoy the beauty.

Thanks to allergy shots I don't have a lot of issues these days like that but my skin can't handle the heavy pollen.....yep, it can affect your skin. I will itch up a storm. Hoping you have a great day Kim.
