I awoke to this last Saturday! outside my window
This is my fav pic of my winter wonderland! |
I couldn't believe it was laying! |
then toward the evening this was so pretty |
then the next morning.... what a surprise! 10 inches (254 mm) |
loved the sun coming out |
The trees are beautiful |
I was amazed by the thick snow was on the trees |
by the 5th day, I was getting tired of the snow hanging around! |
It was beautiful to watch as we were in our warm house with electricity!
I just have to blog about such a rare occurrence of seeing snow in Atlanta! and a bunch of it...

That is quite rare, and your pictures are great! We had some snow here too, and I loved looking out the window from my warm house at the white ground and trees, so clean and sparkly! Hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Amazing views of trees covered with snow! And then, the next day, the blue sky in the background. Nature's wonders! The good thing is that you stayed warm in the house.
We are deep in the sweaty season and I can't tell you just how beautiful and refreshing these images are. Thank you so much.
Your photos of the snow are beautiful! Our pastor has two daughters who live in the Atlanta area, and they had called him and told him about the heavy snowfall. Being from Indiana, they were more accustomed to snow but hadn't expected to see it in Atlanta. We've had a couple of small snows so far this season, but nothing like what you had!
WOW! You got some amazing pictures of the snow. It's snowing here today and I love it.
Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous!!! So I am guessing that Atlanta almost never gets snow.
Oh....this is a really bad subject with me, it snowed all the way around us here in Nashville and we got-----------NOTHING-----------------Not a thing! Haha...it is so pretty and I like a snow that comes, stays a day or two then is gone! Beautiful pics.
We have been here since 1986 and this was the prettiest snowfall I can remember. I loved it - it was so beautiful. We still have a couple of ice patches! Love, sandie
this is amazing, those last photos after the BIG Snow are fantastic. very unusal and glad you had a warm house. the photos are just beautiful
Wow, that IS a lot of snow! I too, love how snow hangs on tree branches. Really makes for a cool visual (no pun intended).
Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing!
Exciting and beautiful! It never snows in our town - our children would love to see snow like yours.
Hi, Like Pam Jackson said, we here in TN ---had snow all around us (above in KY, below in GA, etc.) --and not one drop here... I love snow and would love to see what you saw in Atlanta... AMAZING....
Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy
