My Son's Military Service

After being a proud military mom for 5 years and 8 months.......I am so relieved to have my son home safely back from the Marines!  Jacob will go on to new careers now.

Everyone may have not have been happy at my house because the first morning Jacob was here.....I went outside early and saw this scene of poop by Jacobs car!

Our 15 year old dog Pepper, left him a message.......we can guess what Peppers message was but I thought it was funny cause the old dog still has spunk!

Ha Ha about the POOP..... Message, huh????? ha

I know you are glad to have Jacob safely back home.. What will he do now? There are many good options these days (jobs, housing, etc.) for VETS.... I'm sure he'll find something soon. I assume that his little family are with him/you.... I know how much you love that grandchild.

Hugs,
Betsy

I personally know your relief. After 15 years in the Army, my son will be getting a medical retirement. He did 4 tours in Iraq, including the invasion. I am so happy that he will never deploy again. This joy has no words strong enough to describe it. I'm glad that your son is safely home. Please give him my thanks for his service.

Oh, a mother's heart! Of course you feel relieved to have your son back home from the military. As for the dog and his poop message, well, each and his own way of expressing things.(You've got great spirit of observation)!

You must be thrilled to have him home for good. I hope he doesn't suffer too much from the traumatic experience.
