My Vacation Pictures

I am back from my vacation of a lifetime!!
I will start with my favorite picture......me spending time with my grandbaby!

we saw many mountains

Storm as we were heading into Texas

My niece took this out West somewhere

California Palm trees

Son with grandbaby

Pictures cannot show how grand the Grand Canyon is!

My mother in law and my niece looking over the edge!

I wear sunglasses because I have dry eyes (not trying to look Hollywood)

My daughter was glad to make it to the Grand Canyon before dark!

I tried to take my grandbaby home but his parents did not agree!

Crossing the Mississippi River

loved loved my granny time!

I kept thinking of the song "America The Beautiful" as I rode 5000 miles in the RV camper!

I did not get overly tired, felt pretty good actually.....

I highly recommend seeing the world around you whenever you can!

Oh, Kim! How absolutely wonderful! Time with family is time well spent.

About dry eyes. I have very, very dry eyes. My eye doctor said I have the eyes of an 85 year old. I take a high quality fish oil that I must take to be able to open my eyes in the morning. If I don't take it I have vision so blurry I can't see. Anyway, ask an eye doctor about a fish oil supplement. The ones in grocery and health food stores are not good enough. The one I take is a pharmaceutical grade and is a miracle cure for me. It also helps with my joints.

This link is a Canadian link but this is what I use. http://www.isysmsi.com/products.html

So glad to see you back!! The vacation pictures are very good, but I have to say that my favorites are the first and last. You and your precious grandbaby! You are both beautiful, and you do not look near old enough to be a grandmother!

You look sooo happy! Your granbaby is adorable. I laughed so seeing the baby in the box. Beautiful photos.

How wonderful.
And how selfish his parents were - denying you just a little memento of your trip.

It seems to me your grandson is the main attraction of your vacation, and the main protagonist of your pictures. The baby in the box is priceless!

It sounds WONDERFUL!! I have never been that far west, and I would love to go. The sky shot in the second photo was my favorite.

And then, I saw grandbaby in a box and changed that one to #1.

WOW looks great - must be wonderful to share this trip with your family - have the many memories/impressions settled yet or is your head still spinning with them?

So glad that you had a good time. You sure looked happy when it was grandma time. he is a cutie but I think you'd find it a handful if you could take him home. A vacation with family. It doesn't get much better than that.

Great pictures.
Sounds like the trip of a lifetime.
It is amazing how beautiful the west can be. Everyone should see it during their life.
Thank you for sharing.

Wow! This sounds like a fantastic adventure of a vacation; one you will not forget. Too bad you couldn't take your grandbaby home with you -- but it's for the best; when they get fussy, you can always hand them back to their parents which is something you couldn't do if you took him with you.
