I felt like I found a treasure when I discovered an old envelope stuffed with old photos.....at my Dads house this past weekend.

The above photo was taken at my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary....when lots of family and friends had come to celebrate with them.
I Love seeing old photos! It lets me see a glimpse of the past.

i love old photos, even ones that are not my family. you found a real treasure in that envelope
Hi There, Isn't it fun to go through all photos. I got a bunch when my mother died ---but many of them are not marked on the back so I don't know who they are.....
Have fun going through the photos... Bet that big 50th anniversary celebration was wonderful in 1970.
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh wow! This is really a find, can you identify most of them?
I love finding pictures like this.
Oh what a great find Kim! I love old family photos.
I really enjoy old photos. They bring back so many memories, some happy, some sad. I love to look back at all the fashions, hair styles, cars, and how the homes are decorated. It's better than a history book!
You DID find a treasure. Do you know who everyone in the photo is? That is my problem. We have very few photos and I often don't know who is in them - and the people who could tell me are gone...
I have a picture that looks just like this. I think it was even taken the same year!
Fortunately I can name most of the people in this photo...sadly many have gone on.
Great picture. Yes I love old photos.
Wow that's quite a lot of people!!
"Stuff Could Always Be Worse" has been included in the A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.

I love getting together with my sisters and looking through old photos.
Lucky you! An envelope stuffed with old photos! It doesn't get any better than that!
Wait… a photo from 1970 is old? I guess it is. And so am I! :)
Love looking through old photos...Digging into a box to see what you'll find.
It's like a Kodak Christmas!
