I have seen this kind, and they have a name. They brighten up the woods just as much as flowers!
after our rain we got the normal old toad stools, this one looks like it is covered in melted cheese. really cool

I love that you just stopped the car and got out to see what those spots were! Interesting, I've never seen an orange mushroom before! I wouldn't mind a little rain to cool off, if you wanted to send some my way. lol

In the woods is a great place for them. (My lawn - not so much.) Don't think I've ever seen any so orange.
