This old picture brought back good memories from 1988....somehow I felt a sense of freedom.....when I could zoom around in this chair at work.....and do my job.
Thankfully, there have been many advances in the treatment of MS since then.....now I can leave these kind of chairs behind......and use my walker part of the day!

You are blessed from the Lord and can get around some without the scooter. Sing Praises!
i am so happy to hear you are using a walker, that is fantastic news. one of the girls i worked with had a chair like this one, she could roll it right under her desk.
This is so good to hear. I'm sure if I looked on your blog more thoroughly all my questions would be answered, but if you'd just tell me in a nut shell, what do you attribute your walking to?

I dont know why I am able to walk (by no means normal) again...the doctors seem to think it is medicines but whatever it is, God is behind it.
Oh my, I'm glad you gave progressed!!! We have a transport chair in the back of the car, I really need a scooter but they are too heavy for Phil to haul in and out, so we have to rely on stores that have either a chair or a scooter.
That is good news.
I am so happy that you can walk a little again. My walk is not elegant or graceful - but I am very grateful that I still can (sort of) cover the ground. No scooter yet. A stick some days, forearm crutches on worse days. Just the same, if I have to have an incurable disease there are worse ones about.
Zooming around sounds exciting but I am glad you are now vertically mobile. That is a huge accomplishment.

There is nothing like taking a few steps when they have been denied you for so long. I am glad your treatment method/s are working.
It's great that you have mobility options.
I'm glad that you don't have to use a scooter all the time. I had a class with a girl who uses and scooter. She can't use a walker.
I read this Kim and the word that mucked in my head is 'freedom.' Really glad you have been given more and more 'freedom'
I am so happy to hear you don't have to use a wheel chair 24 - 7 . That is amazing how advanced they are becoming in healing... or maybe healing isn't the word.... but helping MS patients.

Hooray! There's nothing like *not* being able to walk (been there) to make you appreciate mobility, even limited.
