Flowers Still Blooming!

I was happy to see these flowers blooming....
 after what they
had been through this year..

the whole picture above reveals why I thought this flower was dead....
when I am not looking...
my horse dog likes to dig around the flower...
Like a bulldozer so maybe there was a critter under it???

Many analogies can apply here!

That flower has got to be very hardy to survive your horse dog. I wonder what he thinks he is going to find down there.

We don't have a 'horse' dog ---but we do have tons of CHIPMUNKS. They drive us crazy digging up our flower bulbs --especially the tulips... Dang it!!!!!

Pretty yellow color.

Betsy

Even the horse/dog can't keep beautiful nature from being, well, beautiful! I'm sure my cats would love to tear through my garden (and use it as a giant litter box).

Such gorgeous sunshiny flowers they are too. I am glad that they survived the horse dog's attacks.

We have the Black Gopher..,which is really a large mole! A black one...yuck...we have a herd of them. We could use a good digger...they can destroy a garden in seconds! Including tomato plants...they will eat them too!
Sigh!

Pretty! I have irises that continue to grow year after year, even though I'm not very good about watering them.

That flower looks well fertilized.
Excellent work by man or beast.

That flower reminds me of us humans. We have a way of surviving the unthinkable. Hope you have a great week Kim.

Splendid yellow! Glad the flower has survived the efforts to destroy it.

Some plants are surprisingly resilient, aren't they? We could all learn something from that determination to be delicate and beautiful in the face of adversity :)
