The Birds Remind Me...

bird feeder that hubs built for me

it seems that my blog layout went crazy all by itself and I was frustrated trying to figure it out....

And a few other worries tend to stay on my mind like....
money, Dads health, my health, son and DIL, daughter, wheelchair stuff, house, car, aunts, cousins, strangers, dogs, cats....

Then I looked out the window to see these birds....which thankfully brought these verses to my mind!

Matthew 6:25-27 (NIV)

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

Don't you love it when the simplest of things draws our hearts and eyes to the truth of God's Word. So many things that can fill our lives with worry.

HI Kim, My mother was a worrier... I learned from her NOT to worry about things I can't do anything about. BUT--even that is hard at time... Turning to God and scripture is the best thing to help us relieve ourselves from the worries around us...

Love your bird 'kitchen' that your hubby built. It's neat!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

A gorgeous feeder. If I knew where my worry button lives, I would disconnect it. Permanently.

Your hubs is very talented! Love the birdhouse, and especially that the birds reminded you of something that brought you peace. Love the last verse. I'm a super-worrier; never gets me anywhere at all...

I love to see all the little birds - we have so many at the moment, it really does feel like spring is in the air.

Isn't that just such a special verse especially a good one to think on when life overcomes...you can come to my house, put your feet up and have a cuppa tea or coffee and a laugh whenever you want to. xx

Love the feeder. I bet you have so much activity in that area. Gardening helps with my stress and anxiety. Prayers that you can have some relief. Worry never solved anything but its so hard not to.
