My Daughter Visits NYC

My daughter...Leah...and my niece...Courtney have always dreamed of visiting New York City at Christmas.
I thought 'Why?'
but I try to remember when I was young and adventurous like they are now!
they saw a Broadway Play

They got a little too close to this painting at the Museum of Modern Art (the guard said)

This is the Bread and Breakfast Coffee they stayed in....

Last year My Grandkids and I went to NYC to check out all the Christmas lights. Fun day actually.

Glad they had such a fun time!! LOL... You must have been worried about them because of all the stories you hear.

Our kids went last winter, for a whirlwind long weekend visit. These are beautiful young ladies and look so happy. But yes, glad they are back! I have always wanted to go.

so glad they had fun and also that they are home safe, i would have fretted the whole time they were gone. i wish i had the nerve to do that when i was young because it will never happen now

Such happy, happy smiles. A memory for them to cherish. And I am glad for you that they are home.
(I would have been tempted to get too close to that painting as well. Definitely one of my all time favourites.)

Very nice memories for them I'm sure. Did it snow for them?

Merry Christmas Kim. Thanks for sharing this past year with me and I look forward to our sharing the next.

Seeing a Broadway play is on my bucket list but I don't want to have to go to New York to do it!

Sometimes vicarious adventures are better than no adventures all! I know there are people who love New York City, but my one visit (many years ago, to Madison Square Garden for a dog show) convinced me that I'd rather have somebody else go, and send me pictures :) I'm glad they had a good time!
