Why Worry?

original post 12/6/10

I could not imagine this view even existed in the metro woods.  God could....I have been blessed to look at this view for 8 years now.

During Church as I was worrying about jobs, money, kids, dog hmm.... was listening to the sermon.

God helped me to realize.....we have lost jobs before....no big deal to Him.

11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12. They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

What a beautiful scene. And you're so right that God will take care of us. I think He tells all of us once in a while that we don't need everything we think we do. Hugs and warmth,

What a stunning view you have!! And yes, we need to turn it all over to God, though it can be hard and at times takes a lot of faith. But I do believe that the more things we are thankful for, the more joy we have.

Hi Kim,

I have been praying for work too. I can worry but it accomplishes nothing for me. In a way, it's like I'm saying, "I don't trust God to care about my life." So like you, I ask myself, "Why worry?" I'll continue trusting the Lord.

Blessings and peace.

Hi Kim, Life can be rough at times---but I've always heard that God never gives us more than we can take. Keep thinking about that glass being half-full instead of half-empty... God will help you through all of this... AND--we (you blog buddies) will be here to pray for you and tell you how very very special you are.

God Bless You.
Hugs and Prayers,
Betsy

Gorgeous view & so glad you are well.

Your post reminds me of a great line from the Charlie & the Chocolate Factory- "There's plenty of money out there. They print more and more every day.."

Wishing you a fantastic week

True dependence on God is so hard, but the reward is that we know that He will carry us through. Praise God for His promises! :)

Kim -

This is such an encouraging post. True faith shows up when life throws curve balls. And you have demonstrated great faith. Thanks for your wonderful example.

One amazing truth to hold on to, "God will never leave you or forsake you."

God bless!
