The Race Home

We had a fun, very frightening ride home from the mountains.  Started out with my son, "I will not let Glen get ahead of us for long".

This ride was not recommended by me, we made it safely, by the grace of God.

 "I have Glen in the cross-hairs ahead"

"We are catching him, now we are are leaving him in the wind" 

After we got ahead, Jacob kept an eye on how close Glen was, for hours.  The intent of conscentration was admirable, but frightening.

 We won ended about the same, at the finishline, close.

During this race of life, we need to have such intent on winning.  The race home is difficult, but keep the determination.

Rushing Waters!

This is a beautiful photo of the Ocoee River, in Tennessee.

I look at how,  it represents how fast my 50 years went by.  Cherish your time.

Life Can Be Slippery!

Watch your step, when it looks sturdy and safe.  It can be a hidden slippery spot!

 When the onlookers (my nieces) have a good laugh,  keep on trying.

After falling in very cold water,  he took it in stride.  He did dry out and had a good laugh about it.

When it looks safe, watch your step.  It can be deceiving .  Notice the beauty around.

My 50th Birthday Week

I started the weekend celebrating my 50th birthday, will be fortunate enough to keep having parties all week.  I will have more pictures later.

My 4 sisters, Dad, Cindy (childhood friend), kids, new friends and more were there.  I had a memorable day.  A great crowd it was.

You can see my two kids were blinded by the light! 

Waking Up

When my son is woken by a horse big puppy.  He is learning a touch of being a father.  He thinks that, but we know babies are much more.

 I hope he has the opportunity to see, when he is older!
