Daughter and a 5K

I am so proud of my daughter for participating in a 5K with her co-workers for the simple reason of wanting to be healthier.....

She inspires me as I walk with my walker to go to the bathroom many, many times a day (which can seem like a 5K) instead of driving my powerchair....

But exercising sure does make me feel better!

  2. My son is a marathoner and enters several of these races a year. He practices on the city streets and looks so fit. I wish I could walk just a fraction of that!

  6. I have started doing yoga and it has helped with a lot of my neck pain I was having. I think exercise is very important for the ole bones.

  12. Good for her! And I know what you mean about trips to the bathroom. Sometimes that's my main exercise for the day, but the frequency makes it a decent workout!!

  13. Well good for you and your Daughter. Walking to the bathroom is a big deal when your muscles don't cooperate.
