After the Rain



We were driving along our driveway after a really wet weekend....when I noticed all these strange orange spots in the woods.


with a closer snapshot....it looks like we have a bunch of pretty orange mushrooms speckled in the woods.

So what if I got a little wet
I am still thankful for the rain!

    I have seen this kind, and they have a name. They brighten up the woods just as much as flowers!

    after our rain we got the normal old toad stools, this one looks like it is covered in melted cheese. really cool

    I love that you just stopped the car and got out to see what those spots were! Interesting, I've never seen an orange mushroom before!

    I wouldn't mind a little rain to cool off, if you wanted to send some my way. lol

    Pretty color mushrooms, Kim. YES---with all of the rain we have had, I'm sure the mushrooms love it!!!!! We have some too--but none quite as pretty as yours.

    In the woods is a great place for them. (My lawn - not so much.) Don't think I've ever seen any so orange.
