I enjoy these kind of days...riding along with Hubs to the dump landfill....
I have been trying to get out of the house more often....
(I think it is funny how we look like the 'Beverly Hillbillys')
I have been trying to get out of the house more often....
before I go crazy
so I went to the dump, physical therapy, church, grocery store, chiro and out to eat with Hubs...last week.
then my body said, Halt!.....I woke up weak and dragging....but Thankfully I was back to 'my normal' after one day of resting.
On my dragging days of rest....I try to realize time is going on....it is not getting dark outside so so early...and now it is February already!
I giggled at the word change from dump to landfill. I hadn't thought about it in years, but we ALWAYS called it the dump. I guess we're all too sophisticated now.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm glad you got out some!
I'm with you about looking ahead to longer days.
Good for you on getting out!! Winter can make us become hermits in our own home.
ReplyDeleteBeing more active is probably great for strengthening the muscles. You sure did get a lot of things crammed into one week
Yup~sounds like you needed a day of rest, and glad that is all it took to bounce back~
ReplyDeleteTake it easy!
I am going a bit "shack wacky" myself. Glad you got out and about!
ReplyDeleteI am celebrating that it is Feb. too!! Woot!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got out some.
Be well

Glad you could get out, Kim. That is good for the soul--especially in the winter!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe finally got some SNOW this morning... Yeah!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I guess too much too soon. But time is a'wasting, and we have to make hay while the sun shines!! AKA get out while the gettin's good!
ReplyDeletesounds like a good week to me. have fun for a few days and rest for one and out you go again... i need to find something to make me get out of the house
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good week. Glad you got a day of rest too!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when we get to do "normal" things occasionally? Even if we need to 'recharge' for a day, it's worth it!
ReplyDeletePeace,
Muff
I love to stay home, but it's good to get out once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteThat is what you're suppose to do, have a busy week then rest. Sure glad you had a chance to get out of the house, does a soul good!!
ReplyDeleteGrat that you are active!!! When I left work yesterday, I saw that it was much lighter at 5 PM then it had been. January flew by...spring is around the corner!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, have not been here in a while. Glad to learn you are moving about and trying to venture out more. Hugs to you my friend.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but chuckle at the Beverly Hillbilly comment. I used to love that show. It's hard to believe we're already in the second month of 2013.
ReplyDeleteAs they say "Carpe Diem" seize the day...It always feels get out and about, even a trip to the dump can be fun (yes, I still call it a dump!)
ReplyDeleteWhen my children were small and we couldn't afford to eat out or other pleasures, our outings were, a trip to the dump, cemetery or a family visit. Now-days my hubby goes to the dump alone accept for our 3 little dogs who joyously take turns looking out of the window. At the dump their joy comes from barking at all the Ibis who frequent there for a feed... They return home so happy which makes us happy also.
ReplyDeleteyour posts always fill my heart with happiness and gratitude and put a smile on my face :)...i am smiling!! beautiful post !
ReplyDeletestay blessed and happy :)
I know I feel better when I get up and do things. Glad to see you are getting out and about.... that alone is fun.
ReplyDeleteit's nice to go travelling a bit eventhough it's to the "dump" LOL
