Thankfully Recovering

I am happy that I was able to spend Thanksgiving Day with my Dad and our large family.

But boy was I tired after the trip since it had only been a few weeks after my gallbladder surgery.

Funny how I bounced back from major surgery 30 years ago rather quickly...
and now minor surgery is not so minor!

Thankfully I am almost back to my normal with a happy Thanksgiving memory.

  1. Oh Kim, Do I ever know what you are talking about? A year ago, I had hernia surgery --and my energy level was ZILCH for months... I didn't think I would ever get it back--but I finally did. You will too!!!!

    Glad you are doing better.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  6. I found that with any minor surgery it is the after-affects of the anaesthetic that get most people.

  9. Hi Kim

Glad you are back home again.

I wonder if your side of the world able to get "snakehead" fish. The head of the fish looks like snake.

Over here, when someone is recovering from surgery, we would boil snakehead fish soup to drink. it helps to heal the wound faster.

Here is the recipe http://wendyinkk.blogspot.com/2012/09/snakehead-fish-soup-with-sweet-corn-and.html and http://whattocooktoday.com/snakehead-fish-soup.html
