A Special Birthday!

I could not dream of how precious it would be to have a daughter
~25 years ago~

At her birth,  the doctor asked me
"what did you want?" I said "A Boy"

He said "what was your 2nd choice?"
I said "A Girl?"
another girl? we have a family full of girls

She studies all the time since she has almost achieved her
Masters in Taxation degree!

I am proud of her now but I was happy
when she played soccer,
sang in the High School Chorus,
got on the school bus by herself,
got her driver's license
etc. etc. etc.

Many times we do not know what is best for us.
Happy Birthday Leah!

  4. My baby girl is almost 14. Everyone told me I was having a boy and when I found out I had a girl I was shocked and sooooooo happy! Now a question....when does the teenage brooding and atitude start to go away?....patiently waiting. ;0)

  17. We were supposed to have a girl but somewhere between the sonogram and birth she decided to become a he. I have always missed my daughter. Probably just as well I would have spoiled her rotten.

Happy birthday to your daughter and congratulations on the degree (although I hope to never get audited by her).
