My Son when he was 5 years old
My daughter made this at school 1993

I always liked this tree but it has seen better days....when it was young!

  3. I love it when people put memories on their tree instead of just balls and glitter. That make it more beautiful to me.

  4. How wonderful to have a tree full of the memories of your children, things they made with their own little precious hands! And your mother-in-law's ornament, it looks like one you would buy in a store, not homemade!

  10. It's not necessarily the tree that makes the holiday, it's the ornaments with all their hidden memories!

  11. I have a nostalgic attachment to many Christmas ornaments and some decorations around here. There's something about opening the boxes from the attic and seeing the old familiar things. My mom has some that take me all the way back to my childhood.

  15. Some of our Christmas ornaments have nothing to do with Christmas - like a glass coffee pot, but they spell Christmas to me.
I loved your decorations - thanks for showing them to us.
